Yesterday, I went to the Paint Mines Interpretive Park in Calhan, Colorado to capture photos of the rock formations in the sunrise. It appeared as though it would be a very colorful sunrise because of the clouds and the break in the sky on the east horizon. However, the sunset was not quite as colorful as I had hoped. I was still able to capture a very nice photo of the rock formations with a unique-looking sky with dark purple clouds!
