On Wednesday, I went to Garden of the Gods really early in the morning so that I could try to capture the sunrise as a backdrop to the iconic rock formations in the park. I was able to capture a great photo of Garden of the Gods in front of Pikes Peak, however, I was not able to make it in the park in time to have the right lighting for the rock formations. I decided to hike along Ute Trail inside the park to see if I could get a photo of the sun hitting the front of the rocks when I stumbled upon a meadow that seemed to glow in the sunrise. I was able to capture a few great photos that made the whole trip worth it! https://www.gavinwaltersphotography.com/
